Should the primary Schedule C info in my .tax2020 file transfer to 2021 with Mac TTax H&B?

We have two businesses covered by this joint return. Everything else, including the spousal Schedule C and supporting forms, seems to get transferred. But nothing re the primary Schedule C is. I also tried transferring from the PDF files and absolutely nothing came across.

It should transfer over. You should pull up the prior year tax return to make sure the primary schedule C is listed on that tax return. It is possible you are working with a copy of the tax return that was made before you populated the schedule C.

It appears that, in the copy of my 2020 file from which I had transferred, I had inadvertently checked a box indicating I had completely disposed of the primary business during 2020.

 

Oh, well. Maybe this will help someone else who fat-fingered that checkbox.
