Should my son, 17 who earned $1849 for 2018, is my dependent. does he have to file taxes or do i show this amount on my tax returns federal and state of Missouri.?

social security and Medicaid was withheld but only $5.98 federal tax withheld.

You do NOT put his income on your return and he does not need to file a return but if he does it is just to get back the $6 withheld ... he MUST put he is being claimed as a dependent so do NOT let him file before you do incase he makes a mistake.
