Should my return show $1200 on line 30 of 1040-SR?
I received $1200 in Jan 2021.

No. It doesn't matter whether you received it in 2020 or 2021. Line 30 is only used if you did not receive it at all. There is some confusion among taxpayers about this, which may be partially to blame for the current refund processing backlog.

Line 30 is for a tax CREDIT, it is for someone who might not have received a stimulus check or payment but was entitled to one. They they get a tax credit to make up for the missed payment.
