Should my original unchanged 1040 be included with my amended 1040-X?

When I printed my 2021 1040-X amended return for mailing, it included my original, unchanged, 1040-SR with the old (incorrect) values. Is that correct? Should my original return be included?

Does TT just print everything with the 1040-X and make me select the changed pages to actually be mailed??

 

I'm using Turbotax 2021 Home & Biz download version on Windows.

What are you amending your return for? The 1040-SR that prints with the 1040-X should be the updated 1040-X. You do not need to send the original return with the amendment, but you would want to send the corrected 1040 with the 1040X, along with any forms that were affected by the change.
