Should i use w2 as is or use paystub income as box 12 DD causing smaller return and box 1 is less than what i made?

Box 1 says I made less than half of what I took home because of the health coverage work offers takes out then puts it back into the paycheck. Should I continue with w2 as is?

Yes, enter your W2 just as it is (do not use your paystub).

never use pay stubs when you also get the w-2 because there are often adjustments not on the paystubs that would cause problems when you file or try to.  the only time they should be used is when your employer fails to furnish the w-2 and you've contacted the iRS and followed its procedures for reporting when no W-2 is received.
