Should I report state taxes and unemployment I withheld for my nanny in Pennsylvania? If so how?

Yes.  You would include any estimated tax payments on PA-40, Line 15 if you made the payments as estimated tax payments.

Pennsylvania does not assess any income tax withholdings for household employees and therefore, does not have any forms to complete.  Your household employee would be responsible for filing their own tax return to report their earnings within PA.

Thank you. Just for me to understand better: do these payments go on my PA-40, or on my nanny's PA-40, or both?

It depends.

If the payments were made using your social security number, you would include them as payments on your return.

If the payments were made using the nanny's social security number, the payments would be reflected on the nanny's return.

You cannot both claim the payments.

Can you answer the same question for the state of GA? It showed up based on

what we submitted for federal as estimated on the GA tax forms but the state is saying we did not file estimated taxes. Not sure what we did wrong.
