Should I report all my jobs from the tax year on a new W-4 or only the ones I am currently employed at? I had two other jobs this year but am no longer employed there.

This is regarding the upcoming tax year, not an amendment to this past year's tax form. I do not have any other jobs currently. This is a new job but I worked for two other employers earlier this year.

Hi Lydia,

You new job usually would have requested that a W-4 be filled out.  If not, then complete a new W4 for the new job.  When completing the new W4, you should take into consideration how much tax was withheld from the old jobs so that your withholding is calculated correctly.  The IRS withholding estimator is a good tool to help you determine how to figure out your withholding.
