Should box 12 on my w2 say code DD even though they do not pay for my health insurance. They collect my health insurance payments via paypal from me.

I am a tipped employee. I do not receieve my paychecks for my hourly wage as it is fully going to taxes. There usually isn't enough to cover my health insurance so the company invoices me via paypal for my health insurance. I want to ensure this is accounted for and it is know my employer isnt paying for this, I am.

Code DD in box 12 of your W-2 is just for your information. It shows the total cost of your health insurance, no matter who pays for it. Code DD has nothing to do with who pays for your health insurance or how much you or your employer pay for it. Your W-2 does not show how much you pay for health insurance.
