I started TurboTax and selected that I wanted to file an extension and TT had me start a new return. I put in the basic information, but then could not figure out how to file the extension or get 'back' to the point where it was an option. I ultimately went to the help center, which suggested a search for "Extend" (then click on the 'Jump to extend' link). I did that and it worked.
HOWEVER, searching for "Extension" (which I would expect most ALL people to do) does not bring up the same 'Jump to extend' link. I'd LOVE to know why the people who designed this search experience opted to make it so ridiculously difficult, especially for something I expect so many people need to do.
I'm posting this in hopes of helping other people save the frustration I experienced and maybe, just maybe, Intuit will fix the search for "Extension" to be more useful to people.
