Schedule SB, Check This Entry (No Children)

Hi,

 

I hope this is the right part of the forum to ask this question.

I'm finalizing my taxes, and it's making me review Schedule SB. 

It's telling me to input the name of the child, but... I don't have any children?

I don't know if I did something wrong somewhere else in my return, but it won't let me advance without putting a child's name, and I don't have a child.

I believe you are referring to Schedule SB Wisconsin Subtractions from Income. In any case, if you don't have any children you shouldn't be seeing anything referencing them. I suggest you go back through the personal information section of your TurboTax program and make sure you didn't enter anything for a dependent.

 

If that doesn't work, you can try entering NA for "not applicable", then print out and review your return before you file it to make sure the form SB is not impacting any other state tax form incorrectly.
