Schedule B - identical 1099 payers for me and spouse - do we need to distinguish on schedule B ?

Clerical question please - Me and my spouse both have individual accounts at the same investment firm - we both got a 1099 for dividends.  We imported both into TurboTax - The numbers are fine, but just a question on reporting :

On schedule b - it lists the firm name on 2 lines - one for me and one for my spouse.  The firm name takes the whole row on each line.  If an outsider were to look at the form, one couldn't tell which line is for me and which is for my spouse.   The question - do we need to distinguish which one is mine vs my spouse on the schedule B? or should we just leave it as imported ?

We don't know if it matters but wanted to ask - thanks for any help !

No, it doesn't matter. Think how it would look if you were filling out the form by hand. There would be no place to enter either name as the owner of the shares.

Ok thank you so much for the feedback

I know TurboTax tracks the detail in the background.   On the Sch B - I was debating editing the uploaded investment firm name to abbreviate it a bit so it shows on the line "abbreviated firm name - Acct XXXX" like put last few digits of the acct number or something but i guess i should leave it as it was imported, etc

Yes, if it isn't broken, don't fix it.
