This happens to me every single year. These "updates" somehow corrupt the backup files on my micro SD card. They corrupt the .tax file as well as the .pdf files.
What gives? I've been told multiple times by TT that the files were supposed to transfer your information from year to year as well. I had a loss in 2018 that was huge. It didn't transfer any info over to 2019 nor from 2019 into 2020.
TT is only making my taxes more time consuming and frustrating to do. Does anyone know if one of the competing programs that actually works the way it's supposed to like H&R?
