Hello, after completing my federal taxes I realized I was not eligible to make a contribution ($7000) to my Roth IRA. I filed my taxes in April. I removed the excess contribution after the April, 2022 filing deadline but before the October, 2022 extension deadline. I did not receive a 1099-R from the financial institution that I used. Am I required to amend my 2021 taxes? Thank you.
