Roth conversion (backdoor) getting taxed in Turbo Tax - Line 4B 1040

I funded both me and my wife'sTraditional IRA in 2024 (for both 2023 and 2024, 2023 was funded prior to April 2024) with aftertax dollars and immediately converted to a Roth.  I auto imported my 1099 from Fidelity into Turbo Tax Premier.   It should not be taxed.  I followed all the steps in the Turbo Tax procedure from one week ago for entering the Roth Conversion and it is still populating on Line 4B of the 1040.   Can you help me troubelshoot this?

I would delete the imported 1099-R and enter it manually.  Since we can't see your return in this forum, that would be my first suggestion to resolve your issue.

Here's How to Enter a Back-Door Roth Conversion.  You should have a Form 8606 to reflect your correct IRA basis as of 12/31/2023 and non-deductible contributions for 2024, and new basis as of 12/31/2024.
