Robinhood Markets 2023 PDF Files Released but won't import

As the title says, Robinhood Markets just released 2023 PDF file(s) for this tax year and, as usual, they have an account number and document number on the top right corner. In TT Desktop (fully updated as of 2/13/2024) when I try to import this data using "Robinhood Markets" from the drop down and enter the two numbers, TT comes back and says no tax data is available for year specified.

 

I started a chat with a rep at Robinhood and they blame Intuit, not them.

 

What gives?

TurboTax does not import your 1099 data from the PDF. Robinhood has to create a special import file for TurboTax to use. Contrary to what the Robinhood rep told you, if the data is not available it's because Robinhood has not yet created the file that TurboTax needs, or has not yet made the file available to TurboTax. I suggest that you try again in a week or so.
