revenue department

Hello we received a letter stating that our return could not be completed because could not verify credit.  I'm suppose to submit copies of w-2 or 1099.  Wage withholding statements and or miscellaneous income that reported Colorado withholding for tax year.  Why did turbo tax not catch the mistake.  We paid for the product.  And how do I fix this?

If I understand you correctly, the State of Colorado has sent you a letter requesting verification of withholding for Colorado.

TurboTax sent an electronic copy of any forms (W-2, 1099-MISC, whatever) that had Colorado withholding attached to your state return. Note that these are an electronic format, not a PDF.

What has likely happened is that an employer has not sent their copies of the W-2 or 1099-MISC to the State of Colorado. So the state wants to see your original paperwork, so they can verify with the employer that such withholding was made (and, by the way Mr. CEO, why haven't you sent it to us?).

This is not a TurboTax error, just the normal reaction when the state gets conflicting information. Send the state the forms and let the state figure out if there is a problem. Do whatever the letter tells you to so.
