Returns with 0 (zero) WFTC refund are not eligible for electronic filing

Hi,

I almost finished my tax reporting for 2024 with help of Turbo Tax.

However, at the last step,  I got following error:

Not Eligible for Electronic Filing

And the reason is 0 as WFTC refund number.

It's cause by the configuration in "State Return",

I go through the wizard and answered the question about "Working Families Tax Credit", I understand I'm not qualifiied, and after the procedure, the file added a "Washington Information Worksheet" form, and I can not remvoe it.

And TurboTax refuse to e-file report with 0 as WFTC refound.

Can anyone help me on it?

Really appreciate!

  1. From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
  2. On the drop-down, select Tools
  3. On the Pop-Up menu titled “Tools Center,” select Delete a Form
  4. This will show all of the forms in your return
  5. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
  6. Select the Form
  7. Click on Delete.

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.

Using TurboTax Desktop, you can delete forms in forms mode.  Click Forms in the top right corner, select the form you want to delete, and click Delete form.

Unable to delete the form

Which form are you unable to delete?  If you have entered information that requires the form then TurboTax will delete it but it will immediately regenerate because of the information that you already entered.  So before you delete the form you will need to delete the information that is requiring that form.
