Return still not accepted

I filed on 2/13. I have my self employment and one dependent. Every year for 8 years I file the same info and I’m always accepted within hours. This year I’m still on pending and I also have the non filing status when I log into the IRS website. Now I’m wondering if it’s turbo tax or if I need to refile elsewhere smh

The IRS normally hires a lot of extra help during tax season.  This year there are cuts in all government employees.  No help hired for tax season and many IRS employees have taken buyouts.  Prompt handling of returns may just be a memory now.   IRS still is getting most returns processed within 21 days.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.

Due to PATH Act, the IRS holds refunds for EITC/ACTC customers until March 3.

Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?

Why do some refunds take longer than others?

What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?
