Resubmit previous year(2021) Federal Tax Return by e-file

I mailed 2021 Federal Tax Return but I learned via Tax Transcript that IRS has no record. Actually IRS returned cover portion of my 2021 Tax Return for signing. (I forgot signing in rush to meet due date)  It was August or Sept. last year and I mailed back to IRS processing Ctr at Austin, TX, which obviously disappeared...

I looked up IRS webpage and I'm eligible to 'Resubmit' conditions and they recommend e-file> I'm afraid of mailing again because of delaying/missing...TurboTax says e-filing of 2021 Return is closed last October.

Can anybody give me good idea?

No you can't efile a prior year return from Turbo Tax.  You will have to mail it again.  But maybe the IRS just hasn't gotten to it yet.  Or go to a local accountant that can efile prior years.
