Resolution - if you are having issues with TurboTax trying to import your 1099s from WELLS FARGO ADVISORS (brokerage), First Change your current Password.

Turbotax Import process seems to require a NEW Wells Fargo password in order to import the brokerage consolidated data for 1099s

Also, TurboTax does not allow special characters in the password.

If you don't change your password  with WF Advisors first, then return to TurboTax to Import, the page will hang and not proceed.

The new password requirement each year (or whatever) should be on the TT walk me through it Import page for WFAdvisors
