Report IRS interest from last year refund as taxable income

Hi

I got a tax refund from 2020 and I need to add that amount as interest taxable income on my 2021 tax return

When I add that through the 1099-INT, Do I input in the bank name (IRS - taxable income for 2020) and the amount?? anything else I should do?

Thank you

Yes, enter the interest exactly as if it was from a bank and include the name of the IRS.

actually, the payor is the Department of the Treasury. but the IRS knows many taxpayers say IRS.
