Been using Turbatax for years and this is a first for me. I filed for both Fed/state taxes. Fed went through. State did not. I got a message saying this:
"Vermont 911 Street address is missing. If you are using a P.O. box for your address you will need to enter a separate address for your 911 Street Address. Do not use spaces to hide error messages. You can do this in the Final Review Section for Vermont and enter this address in the information worksheet."
Can someone direct me to where this worksheet is that I can put my street adress in? All I see is where my PO box adress is and no option to add another. I don't know why it is asking me this as using my PO Box worked last year and was never asked this. Any help would be much apreciated. Thanks.
The physical address is requested early in the Vermont state interview. Look for the screen, 911 Physical Street Address that comes up right after you select your school district.
If you missed this on your first pass:
Rules change. VT requires your physical address. See 2022 Income Tax Return Booklet, page 9. The state review should offer a worksheet that you can type your actual address into. Otherwise, go back to the Federal personal section and change your address there. You will not be able to file VT with a PO box this year.
I opt for the paper check so if I put in my street address how will i recieve my check? I figured there would be two areas to eneter both adresses? I also appreciate the help.
