Recovering a deleted or removed form

I accidentally removed a K-1 worksheet. Now TT is telling me I need to make a correction. How can I recover the removed form? I haven't exited or saved my progress yet, if that makes a difference.

There is no way to recover a deleted form. TurboTax has no undo or backout.

You didn't say whether you are using TurboTax Online or the CD/Download TurboTax software. If you are using the CD/Download software you can use Save As to save the return with a different name. Then you can open the original return and it will be as it was when you last saved it. Depending on when you created the K-1 worksheet and when you last saved, that might allow you to recover the worksheet. But anything you entered since the last save will be only in the copy that you saved with a different name. There is no way to combine the two files or copy a form from one file to the other.

I was afraid of that! Thank you are taking the time to explain it to this TTT (Turbo Tax Twit).

Hi,

I was trying to clear up my list of prefinal returns.

I accidentally deleted it from TT and my PC my "final" return.

It was in my Recycle Bin. Nor could I locate am "Undo" button.

@Sewerspill  I assume you meant to say that it was NOT in your Recycle Bin. A deleted file only goes to the Recycle Bin if you delete it in Windows Explorer. When a file is deleted  by a program, it's gone.

If you don't have a backup, then yes, you are out of luck.
