Received Unemployment but moved states 1 month after it started... Please help! I am soo lost.

Please help!!!! So I am TRYING to do my state taxes and very confused.  I read different things about how to enter this and just don't know what is correct.

I am receiving Unemployment from IL but moved to LA just 1 month after I started getting unemployment.  Do I break up the unemployment total between the 2 states even though IL paid it all to me?

Example of income to make it easier:

All income is from IL Unemployment and they took out Fed and only IL taxes

     Total unemployment payment for 2024 = $1,000

Per month would be $200 (5 months total)

Would it be broken out to the following?

     1 Month in IL = $200

     4 Months in LA = $800

I DO know that any interest from bank accounts gets split between the 2 states.

Yes, you allocate unearned income to the state you were living in when you received it.

Thanks!  So my calculations were correct above?

There is a line for each state indicating Unemployment.
