Received 1099-misc with amounts in box 3 and 8 from my investment firm. What should I put there as reason ?

Not a business!

You will enter this income under Income & Wages/ 1099-MISC and Other Common Income/Income from Form 1099-Misc.  You can simply type "Other Income" in the box.  (see screenshots below)
