Ready to file-msg says check for updates-says updates are ok-then it does the same over again

Run Review for Federal and State to see if there are any errors. If so, the program asks if you want to fix them, click yes, and the program takes you to the page and box to make the corrections. The box is usually highlighted Red. Also, click the Help button because it usually gives some particulars about the box and form. Run Review until there are no errors. Then attempt to e-file.

Dumb answer! Didn't come close to answering my question.  Can't update if I am already updated!!

Sigh. There could be errors in the forms and that's why the program keeps asking to be updated. Don't update. Try the Review tab first. It's the easiest way to troubleshoot a problem.
