And "jump to safety box" takes me to the "Deductions and Credits" page which is where I was when I asked this question.  So in a circle. But I'd like to know where to go after this.

Safe deposit box rental fees are miscellaneous itemized deductions and, as such, are no longer deductible after tax reform (the TCJA).

Here's where you put it

Deductions and Credits/  Other Investment Expenses   down at the bottom

then hit Enter My Expenses
