I need to be able to change my status to a real estate professional.  I am a RE Agent.

Go back to the rental real estate that you entered and click on it to go through the step-by-step guide one more time.  At one point it asks if you are a real estate professional and you just need to change your answer to yes.

As @RobertB4444 indicated, check the boxes in the screen that appears during the Interview in the Rental and Royalty Properties section.
