RE: Online Premier Turbotax: In previous years I was able to review errors. Where can I go to see if I have any errors that need to be corrected before I can file?

You are correct—that means at least one form is still in progress, and since the program isn’t clear on the updated tax rules, it can’t yet check the accuracy of the return. Sometimes it specifies the form in question (if not, it’s likely because the focus is on accommodating the IRS update as quickly as possible instead). If you have an idea about which one it is, here’s a TurboTax page where you can check on it. (Please note that the projected dates sometimes change as the government takes a little longer than expected to configure things.)

To review errors in TurboTax Online, select Review, Federal Review or State Review down the left side of the screen.

I tried Federal Review, but there was no prompt to check for errors.  The following is what i encountered in Federal Review:

1.  We are working on some updates due to law changes.
2.  A promo to sell me MAX.
3. The last screen told me:
  Step 1 You have paid.
  Step 2 Your refund info
Step 3  Get ready to save and file your returns - The IRS hasn't  finalized one or more of your forms.
Once forms are finalized you will be able to access this section.

Is the error checking in Step 3 which I can't access now?
