Question with W2 - Same Employer - Two Different Ones Due to Job Transfer

Due to a Job Transfer, I have two W2s from an employer I worked for:

A) W2 One = Total Pay for Company XYZ -  Location One (New Jersey)

B) W2 Two = Total Pay for Company XYZ - Location Two (New Jersey - Different City)

I am not ready to file, as I am waiting for additional tax forms.  However, I will use TurboTax Online.

Both W2s have the same Box 15 (Employer's State ID).  However, the Control Numbers on the Top Left of the pages are different.

My question is the following:

When entering these W2s into TurboTax Online, will I be able to import them separately or do I need to manually edit the totals by adding the two papers together?  Also, how does this work with the IRS if I physically have two separate W2s but when filing I need to combine the values?

Thanks for the help,

Christopher

Yes, you will be able to import them separately.  You do not have to manually edit the totals by adding the two W-2's together.

Your employer submitted two W-2's to the IRS and the IRS will match the two W-2's you submit against what your employer submitted.

Thanks for the help.

Don't know why the "Thanks" and "Best Reply" posted twice though.
