Quarterly Estimated Taxes and how to file 4th quarter

I am trying to file my 2023 tax return. It wants me to enter how much I paid for each of the four quarters. It populates for me to enter the 4th quarter, which was paid 1/16/2024 (which is the requested due date to pay by). Do I still enter this amount, even though it was technically paid in 2024? Or should I leave the 4th quarter blank and put that quarter in for my 2024 tax return?

Yes, you do enter the amount paid in 2024 for 4th quarter of 2023 estimate tax in the 2023 tax return entry, since that is what year it applies to.
