Q on Paying Multiple Quarters of Federal Estimated Payments (Calif Disaster Area Extension until Oct 16 2023)

Hello,

I need to make Estimated Quarterly payments for my Federal taxes for 2023, but since I live in California (which was mostly declared an affected disaster area this year), they have delayed our first three quarters due date until 10/16/23.

My question is -- when I go to the Federal Estimated Payment site, should I enter one payment for the sum of all the first three quarters, or three separate equal payments for them?   There does not appear to be a way to identify which quarter they are for, so it appears I'll need to go in a submit three separate times with today's date?

Thanks !

according to the IRS the three payment dates are extended to Oct 16.

It doesn't matter if you make one large payment or three payments, any excess over the expected  first payment is applied to the second and third payments.
