To enter, edit or delete Property Taxes -
Or enter property tax in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to property tax
Thank you for the response, but I have gone to that screen repeatedly. I cannot delete the incorrect information or add the name of the correct mortgagee that paid the property taxes.
Once I get to that screen, how do I delete the incorrect mortgagee name, add the right one, and correct the amount paid?
@BLRM Which TurboTax program are you using?
The TurboTax online web based editions?
Or the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions and if so which operating system, Windows or Mac?
TurboTax desktop CD/Download, Premium edition, Windows operating system.
I think I found the solution - I went to Tools, then selected Tax Data, found the entry about the mortgagee, and "jumped to interview." That took me to a series of questions that I could correct.
Thank you for your effort.

Okay...Click on Forms. When in Forms mode open the Tax and Interest Deduction Worksheet (Tax & Int Wks) on the left side of the screen. With the worksheet open, scroll down to Line 2 - State and local real estate taxes. Change the entry. If the entry is on Line 2b or on Line 2e then click on the box and then click on the magnifying glass that will take you to where the taxes were entered on Mortgage Interest Worksheet or the Schedule E Worksheet.
Return to the interview by clicking on Step-by-Step in the upper right of the page.
As described in prior message, I found my way to the solution re mortgagee/property tax on my own, via Tools & Tax Data.
However, I was getting an error message to add the amount of my mortgage loan on the Mortgage Interest Worksheet but was unable to add the data. I used Forms to find the Worksheet and finally found that if I RIGHT-CLICK ON THE FORM AND SEKECT OVERRIDE, I could make necessary corrections or additions. That would have been useful information to have. If it is in the program, I didn't find it.
Thank you for your responses.
