What are you trying to use to open the PDF file? You have to open it with Acrobat Reader or some other PDF reader. You cannot open a PDF with TurboTax.

If you are trying to open the PDF with Acrobat Reader, what exactly does "not opening" mean. What happens when you try to open the PDF with Acrobat Reader? If you get an error message, what is the complete exact message?

If you are trying to open the PDF with a different PDF reader program, try using Acrobat Reader. It's free.

On my  friend's Mac you can use Preview? to open it.   Is it actually a pdf file?  Or another kind of file?  How did you save it?  Did you use the Desktop program?

Error details: "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open 'file-name copy-t2.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."

I tried exporting to pdf on a diferent (newer version) Mac and it works ok.

TT 2024 was working fine about 3 months back on my current mac. It was updated today and it is giving this error. Looks TT 2024 is having a bug.

i have tried with both Mac's PDF Reader and Adobe Reader. Both are giving errors. My Mac OS is Ventura 13.7.6 and this is the best OS i can put for my current hardware.
