Parents taxable income asking for form 1040 line 11b there is no line 11b
Hello I have to report my parents taxable income it is asking for form 1040 line 11b there is no line 11b.
there is line 11 with adjustable gross income, line 15 it is total taxable.

It looks like they're asking for "taxable income" which was line 11b in 2019 but is line 15 for 2020.

Thank you. They should update the instruction to refer to line 15 .

Good instructions from below, but this could be a significant issue if people substitute line 11 thinking it was the same as the old 11b. Please use Line 15 here!!! If you pull up the "about line 6" by right clicking in the space, the detailed instructions are correct.
