OUT OF THE BLUE, I get a huge bill from the IRS for 2019, and, according to Turbo Tax, I did not owe money. What happened??

What is with 2019? I get a HORRIBLE bill, with wretched interest, for filing a return WAY underwater, when Turbo Tax said that I was due a tax return. What happened??

Do not contact the IRS until you have spoken to TaxResources. They may contact the IRS on your behalf.

this does not mean you don't owe the tax, just a resource or hire a pro

the notice should explain what the IRS changed and a means to protest if you disagree.

if it is a Turbotax calculation error, you can file a claim for any penalties and interest but you are responsible for the additional taxes.
