Out of pocket health care expense

Can you deduct your out of pocket health care expenses?

Yes, you can deduct non-reimbursed out of pocket expenses as an itemized deduction on Schedule A.

To enter these in TurboTax Deluxe, click on the Federal Taxes tab, then Deductions & Credits, then scroll down to Medical and select Medical Expenses.  Then just follow the prompts to enter your out of pocket expenses.
