Our family has only filed one return, now we trying to file the second and its requesting a fee, how many free federal and state files allowed?

I do not see answer to my question on how many free e -files for federal and state ?  I am using desktop version.

The desktop version includes 5 e-files includes and one state download. If you are trying to process a second state return, that will generate an additional fee.
