One spouse lives in a nursing home and they are filing jointly. Can the nursing home be used as the mailing address?

Not sure why you want to do that.    Do you want mail from the IRS to go to the nursing home?

I would never use a nursing home for an IRS mailing address. while the majority of nursing home workers are honest, it only takes one to make both spouses the victims of identity theft and other scams.
