On Turbo Tax Premium. I cannot show a loss in ( ***) so it might appear as a gain! (900) shows as 900 gain. Help Please

The TT Program won't allow me to Bracket ex, (***) to show the figure as a Loss

Have you tried the -900 figure?

I’m used to financing programs, so I did try the - minus symbol but found it unusual for my tax situation. I’m imputing K-1 and K-3 partnership of a schedule 1056 form. The  (****) is consistent for loss. If I can use the typical loss ( )  it would be good. Thanks much,

TurboTax uses the minus symbol, not brackets, to indicate negative values or losses. If you reenter your figures using the minus symbol they should show as negative.
