On my refund I added a state i did not need. How do i take it off?

This is the first time I'm actually doing my taxes myself.

This did not help at all. I cant file my taxes if it is not accurate. What do I do so I can file it? It says I need to add a drivers licence for the state but I never resided there so I CANT complete my paperwork????

If you've already paid or registered you'll ned to skip the state return instead of deleting it. When you get to the Let's get ready to e-file screen, select the File by mail button and click the I'm not ready to file radio button below your state and click save.
