On my 1099G I have UI and DI do I enter in the total number or just the UI number

the 1099G has $18,300 for unemployment and $3600 for DI disability benefits, Do I put the total $21,900 in turbo tax question

Enter the UI amount in the TurboTax entry screen for the 1099-G. 

 

Most likely your disability benefits are not taxable, but you need to check with your state.  The federal government will partially tax short-term disability benefits in New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii, since employers in those states pay for part of the benefit. As taxable income, these payments must be reported on your federal tax return, but they are exempt from California state income tax.
