NYS return was rejected. email WHAT HAPPENED it states NY_ Itemized - We've identified a potential issue in your New York return due to an error in our software.

email stated to update your return, once you've opened your return the details about what's causing the problem will be displayed.
I did that and there was no explanation.  The program went right to the filing status and I had to E-file my state return again.

I had the same problem with my Virginia return. "VA_Charity - We've identified a potential issue in your Virginia return due to an error in our software." I went in and got no explanation, can see no change to the return or the refund amount, and am at a loss. US and Arizona returns accepted, but not Virginia. I do not want to file ir again without an explanation.

After opening up the program there was an update. There was no explanation and no changes. It went right to e-filing which I did.  An hour or so later it came back that it was rejected again. Again there was no explanation and no changes.  Again it went right to the e-filing which I did.  This morning I received an email that NYS accepted the return.  Finally.  But still there is no answer from turbo tax as to the cause.

Looks like there are many problems with turbo Tax software this year.  I hope they correct them
