Number of credit card payments allowed

Is the annual limit of 2 credit card payments per tax form and payment processor doubled to 4 when filing taxes as Married Filing Jointly? Has anyone successfully made more than two payments through the same payment processor for a single tax year when filing Jointly?

No, the limit is not doubled.  The limit is based on the tax form that you filed, so filing a single Form 1040 using the Married Filing Joint filing status counts as one return.  Therefore the limit of payments by credit card is two per year.
