Not able to upload Merrill-Lynch or Fidelity 1099 information.

When I try to upload 1099 information from Merrill-Lynch and Fidelity I get an error message saying my user i.d. and/or passwords are invalid.

I know for a fact that my credentials are correct as I use a auto propagator to input my credentials.

I have also logged into each site with the exact same credentials outside of TurboTax and have no problems logging in.

Any ideas why I am having this problem?

My institution participates with Turbo Tax

My credentials are correct.

I will wait until end of the month to see if it is an issue with my institution's uploading settings.

Thanks for the info.

still not working

Also why does Turbo Tax Premier only show for Merrill-Lynch, "Merrill-Lynch Edge" as a participating partner and not Merrill-Lynch in general?

Where in Turbo Tax Deluxe it does show Merrill-Lynch in general and not just Merrill-Lynch Edge as a  participating partner choice?

If you cannot import the 1099, please follow the instructions here

You can also follow the instructions here to import a large number of transactions for the return.

Although the answers provided are generally the process to upload data from Broker, etc., but still does not work for me.

Oh well will have to process manually.  What a pain!

I have the same issue, Merrill-Lynch 1099 not downloading.  I have 2 factor authentication with ML, does that need to be turned off to download 1099 data to Turbo Tax?

I also had 2FA set up with Merrill-Lynch.

Try turning 2FA off and then try again to upload ML data into TurboTax.

This may or may not work.

However, I was able to upload my data from ML after waiting for ML to catch up with their internal permissions.
