Non-dependent has an office in my home

My son is not a dependent, but still lives with us.  He works from home and has an office in our home.  We do not charge him.  Are we able to count a home office expense?

No, in order to deduct a home office, it must be used for the taxpayer's self-employment or business.    See Setting Up a Home Office - TurboTax Tax Tips & Videos
