No street address for the IRS is a problem

What a headache US IRS taxes are, especially when you live and work outside of the US in another country.
So many reasons why it is obsurd to have to file 11 pages of tax forms to say you don't owe US taxes, but the worst is that I can't file eletronically if I earned no income in the US and qualify for foreign earned income exemption. That's insane. The tax system is so broken.
What's worse? When you live in a foreign country, in order to send tracked mail, you HAVE to have a street address.
But what does the IRS do? Gives an address like this with no street:
Department of Treasury
Internal Revenue Service
Austin TX [removed]
I had to go to three different postal shops to find someone who could figure out how to send mail and skirt the requirement for a street address.

Well, if that is the correct address, then Turbotax has failed miserably and provided the wrong address in their "File by mail instructions" they provide when you print your return.
It wouldn't be the first time Turbotax has failed in something so basic.

@jd_in_nz

The address TT provided is the one the IRS provides

https://www.irs.gov/filing/international-where-to-file-form-1040-addresses-for-taxpayers-and-tax-professionals

The street address is used by private delivery services  , DHL,, UPS  and Fed EX.

Right, I got it, but it's a bit late for TT to not make a distinction  between the two addresses at the time you print out what TT is telling you to do. That could be made more clear. Otherwise there seems to be no point in providing "instructions" if those instructions aren't correct and result in a non-delivery. I should from now on just not trust what TT tells me to do. I guess now my return will be late. Thanks TT.

I won't be using TT again, you can trust me on that.

Great, but still the problem is TT mailing instructions are still in need of improvement and in need of clarification of addresses as there is more than just the one TT has provided. And certainly TT won't refund me the $120. I will have spent trying to send tracked mail.

The fault is still with TT needing to improve their product. That is clear.
