No option to Input Dividends myself (as opposed to importing data)

In 2024 Turbotax Deluxe, I have imported data from 2023 return.

As a result there is an existing list of financial institutions from 2023 that I need to update dividends for.

But when I try to edit dividend for each institution, it only wants me to import the data directly. There is no choice for me to type in the information myself.

If I want to type in the dividends, looks like I have to start over anew and cannot use the existing financial institution list that was imported from 2023.

This is very frustrating!

Are you using the Desktop program?   I know it’s changed.  To start, at the bottom of the screen to type in your bank to import there is a little blue button to Skip Import.  Then if you get the list of Interest and Dividends there is a pencil icon on the right by each one to edit it.  And now they list ALL your interest, dividends and investments mixed on 1 list.

If the pencil isn’t there there should be a Review button.   Here is mine that I transferred from 2023.

Are you seeing the 'Skip Import' button when you Add Investments?

On the next page, when you indicate the source, you should then get an entry screen.

If the issue persists, here's how to Contact TurboTax Support.
