No mail/email confirmation for paying estimated tax

When I pay estimated tax, should I receive something in the mail or email from IRS that I can keep for records?  I use the IRS2Go app to pay estimated tax but I do not get any confirmation in mail or email from IRS.

No.  They will not send you anything in the mail.  You should get a confirmation email, but if not check you spam folder.  You can also go back to the app and screenshot your confirmation.
