New to Turbo tax. I can't remember if I filed a 1040 or 1040 EZ form last year. Does it matter? I'm 37, single with no dependents. One simple W2.

TurboTax will automatically recommend the best route for you based on answers you provide. However, you may want to consider getting a copy of your last years' tax return. When requesting your copy, you can choose either a tax return transcript, which is free or an exact copy which costs $50 (the fee may be waived in Presidentially declared disaster areas).

Tax return transcripts include most line items from the originally-filed Form 1040, 1040A, or 1040-EZ return. They're available back to 2013 and take 5-10 days to arrive in your mailbox.

Order your transcript online or by mail from the https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/request-a-transcript-or-copy-of-a-prior-year-tax-return website or by calling their toll-free number 1-800-908-9946.

Ok. What if I already filled this year's and put it under a 1040 from last years? Is it ok if it's wrong?
